January Is one of the most calm months. There are only 17 days from 31 (57%) available for kiting. It's possible to see a week with good wind and after a week with no wind at all. According to statistics it's also the coldest month of the year. Average temperature of the air is only 20 degrees :) and water is around  the same temperature. You'll need to wear the wetsuit 3-4mm. In the evening it's better to wear a jacket. The sun in January is not dangerous. If you come from northern countries for you January in Egypt will be summer time - you will be able to swim and get tan!

Also January is the season of strawberry.. the fruit markets are full with it.. and it smells so great..like from my grandmother's garden.

Dont get upset if there is no wind for some days because winter is the best time for travelling in Egypt. You can see many famous historical places - Pyramids of Giza, Temples of Luxor, Christian monasteries of St. Anthony and St. Paul etc.

February Compared to January the statistics is better - 60% of windy days. But also the best way to come is to find the trip according to forecast (www.windguru.com) - just see where the stars are and take the trip for 10-14 days.

February is the same winter month as January, the temperature of air and water is around 21 degrees. So you need the same wetsuit 4-3 mm to feel yoursef comfortable in water during lessons and riding.

February is very clubbing time of the year... students holidays in Russia just blow up local night club life :)

March In March there are only 19 days for kiting according to statistics. It's the first month of spring. And even in Egypt it makes you feel warmer:) The avarage temperature is 24 degrees  - in the first weeks you need 3-4 mm wetsuit then in the end of the month you can use 2-3 mm. Remember to watch the forecast before you buy the trip.

In March there is interesting natural phenomenon called Khamsin (in arabic it means "fifty"). Some people say that the name of this wind means that it blows 50 days but as practice shows it's not truth. It seems the truth is that the weather is changed 50 times a day. It's the transition from winter to summer. For kiters this time is interesting for the wind coming from sea to shore - steady and strong. If you will be here in this time you can call yourself a lucky person.
