Learning kiteboarding at Playkite school is fun and safe, and with our super experienced instructors and top quality equipment it’s easy.
Our location on the shoreline of Hurghada provides the best learning environment for kiteboarding you can find in Egypt. Here we have big, shallow lagoon with flat water and sandy bottom, constant side-on-shore wind and cozy station.

The quickest way to progress in kiteboarding is “Personal coaching” - when you have total attention of the instructor during all the lesson. The recommended minimum time is 9 hours or 3 days.

The first day of the course is introduction to kiteboarding. You will start with a small training kite. It takes around one hour to learn how to control it and make it flying where you want if you’ve never tried it before. As soon as you can do it we are making the next step. Together with instructor you will rig up an inflatable kite and try to control it in the middle of the lagoon. Safely, far away from any obstacle, you will get the idea of how powerful the kite is.

The second day is mostly for body dragging. Before you get on the board you need to understand and learn how to create the power which pulls you to the right direction. In the end of this day most of the students are making their first attempts of standing on the board.

On the third day you are supposed to start riding!
